Siler sees action in Hawks’ road victory

After failing to play in the previous two preseason games, Atlanta Hawks rookie Garret Siler played six minutes in Atlanta’s 111-96 road victory over Memphis on Wednesday night.

Siler, the former Augusta State center who is trying to make the team as a free agent, had two rebounds, one block, one foul and missed both his free throw attempts.

Maurice Evans led the Hawks with 27 points.
