WARRENTON, Ga. -- Authorities are searching for an elderly Warren County man who has Alzheimer’s disease.

More than a dozen volunteer firefighters searched areas in Warren and McDuffie counties Saturday in search of 75-year-old Bill Smith, of Warrenton, according to Warren County Emergency Management Agency Capt. Suzanne Warkentin.

Mr. Smith went missing about 10 a.m. Saturday. He is white, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 190 pounds.
