Officers are still investigating a shooting and armed robbery Monday of a 20-year-old Augusta man.

A Richmond County sheriff’s report says that a white 1996 Oldsmobile 88 with four men inside pulled up next to the man as he was walking in the 1100 block of Cedar Street.

A passenger in the car shot the victim in the leg with a chrome revolver. The men got out of the car, took the man’s cell phone and $100 and fled.

The victim was taken to the Medical College of Georgia Hospital for treatment. No information was available on his condition.

The shooter was described as black, with long dreadlocks. The victim knew the driver of the car only by his first name, Terrance, the report says.
