Aiken County man wanted in connection to several area burglaries

AIKEN – Authorities are searching for an Aiken County man wanted in connection to several burglaries and possessing a stolen vehicle.

Marquis E. Cummings, 26, of the 1900 block Seaborn Drive, North Augusta, is wanted for burglary, grand larceny and possession of a stolen vehicle, Aiken County sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Myers said in a news release.

Mr. Cummings may have committed several burglaries in the area, and is considered armed and dangerous, Sgt. Myers said.

Anyone with information can contact the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at (800) 922-9709 or CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers will remain anonymous and will eligible for a cash reward of between $50 and $1,000.
