AIKEN – Authorities are investigating a late-night burglary at an Aiken jewelry store.

Aiken County sheriff’s deputies were called to Floyd and Green Jewelers in the 500 block of Silver Bluff Road about 3 a.m. A newspaper carrier told dispatchers the business’s front door was open and glass cases had been shattered, sheriff’s Sgt. Dave Myers said in a news release.

Anyone with information can call the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office at (800) 922-9709 or CrimeStoppers of the Midlands at (888) CRIME-SC. Callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for a reward between $50 and $1,000.
