NEW ELLENTON – A boil water advisory will be in effect in New Ellenton until Wednesday morning, according to a Commission of Public Works news release.

The commission advises customers in the Cedar Creek subdivision to boil their water for precautionary measures for one minute before drinking or cooking with water until 8 a.m. Wednesday.

Residents lost pressure when a main line broke on Glenview Drive. The commission must impose the advisory due to South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control requirements.

Anyone with questions, can call the CPW office at (803) 652-2862.
