You can have the comment

You can have the comment removed if you like but that does not make it "not true". Anyone can easily see the statistics and there is no other logical explanation.

@mad_max. I'm unsure who

@mad_max. I'm unsure who you're quoting when you say "not true", but anyone can also see the plethora of racist comments on this site, and there is no logical explanation for them other than ignorance. So you can rest assured I'll report every instance of racism I happen upon on this site.

It is such a shame that

It is such a shame that people have to resort to hurling the term " racism" about everything. While this crime may have been commited by a black man, it could just easily have been a white man. Look at Bermie Madoff, what he did was a lot worse than stealing gas with unauthorized fuelman cards, but I don't recall any derogatory comments from black people about him. This was not a crime against humanity, so as my wise old grandfather once told me, ignorance is best kept silent.

This man has a job, steals

This man has a job, steals fom it, will get convicted, then won't be able to get another because he is a thief, then will whine about how unfair it is he can't find a job. The thing even more sad is there will be so many bleeding hearts making excuses for him when that time comes. You reap what you sow!!! I wonder if this was the same guy who already has a felony as a thief. Why do places keep hiring convicted felons. If they did, they asked for it! Very few thieves change, usually only ones who make a mistake in thier youth, not usually grown men thieves. They probably give a sob story of how it wasn't them and they were wrongly convicted.
