2nd Aiken slaying suspect sought

AIKEN – Aiken officials are searching for a second suspect in the murder of Donald McCalla.

Aiken Department of Public Safety is searching for Jeremy Holloway in the murder that occurred on Sept. 8 on Abbeville Avenue, said Aiken Department of Public Safety Sgt. Aaron Dowdy. Mr. Holloway is wanted for armed robbery, kidnapping and possession of a weapon during the commission of a crime in connection to another incident earlier this year, Sgt. Dowdy said.

The first suspect, Freddie Simpkins, 20, of Aiken, was arrested and charged with murder Wednesday night.

Mr. Holloway is considered armed and dangerous.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts, can contact the Aiken Department of Public Safety at (803) 642-7799. Callers will remain anonymous and are eligible for a reward up to $100.
