Two men were arrested early this morning following a home invasion in which one of the suspects accidentally shot himself Tuesday night.
Gustave Antione Taylor, 18, and Marqueis Demarcus Hall, 18, both of the 2100 block of Cook Road, each face armed robbery and burglary charges, according to Richmond County Sheriff’s Investigator Kendall Brown. Mr. Taylor is also charged with possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
A group of men were hanging out outside a home on Leeway Landing when two men came from a wooded area and ordered the victims into the house. They stole a TV, a videogame system and several other items then fled back into the woods. A short time later, deputies responded to Cook Road where Mr. Taylor had accidentally shot himself in the thigh while trying to put the weapon back into his waistband. Deputies located the TV and other stolen items with the two suspects.
Mr. Taylor was taken to Medical College of Georgia Hospital for treatment but has since been released to the sheriff’s department. A third suspect, Antonio Cantrell Clark, 16, also of Cook Road, is wanted in the case on armed robbery charges.

I guess Gustave Antione is the genius leader of this little group of thieving scumbags since he is the one who shot himself. Hope he blew his tallywhacker off. I'm sure one of our local judges will go for the kickback and give all of them probation. I'd say they need 10 years hard labor and another 10 of supervised parole. But out judges will go for the kickback from the contractor supervised, and I use that word supervised loosely, probation.
I hope that someday this segment of society will successfully wipe themselves off the map.
This is sad, but it is what we have come to expect. :-(
Send the case to the feds...with a firearm they will be gone a long time...no probation under the federal guidelines if you caught with a firearm doing a crime...

God help us if they ever make it a requirement that you have to be able to spell your name to get out of first grade. There will be a 10 year waiting list to get in.

Mamma and Daddy cant protect you when your are 18 boys, get a job. STEALING is not considered a career. Hope the judge will give you a very very long sentence in jail so you have lots of time to think where you went wrong. I would love to see a survey of how many folks from the Augusta area were ever in the system (black and white). Perhaps if mom and dad handcuffed em and beat the livin crap outta them, they would not be going to prison, lol.
