A man with a handgun held up Sprint Food Store at 3444 Mike Padgett Highway early this morning and got away.

The gunman demanded money from the cash drawers, along with a case of Black and Mild cigars, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office, which responded about 3:10 a.m.

The robber forced the employees inside a cooler, then ran away with the money.

He was described only as black, wearing a long-sleeved camouflage shirt, black or dark-blue pants, white tennis shoes and a black ski mask.

Surveillance video of the robbery was turned over to investigators.
