Police arrested two men tonight after they discovered a pound of marijuana in a parked car.

The Aiken County Sheriff’s Office charged Christopher Powell and Eddie Brockington with possession of marijuana with the intent to distribute and unlawful carry of a pistol, said Aiken County sheriff’s Capt. Troy Elwell.

Deputies were dispatched to the 40 block of Chasity Lane around 3 p.m. about a suspicious vehicle, Capt. Elwell said.

Upon investigation, deputies found the marijuana and a handgun.

Both suspects were being booked at the Aiken County Detention Center around 8 p.m.

I hope the officers had

I hope the officers had reasonable cause to search the car because, if not they will be going free. If it was in the open then they are some pretty dumb guys.

Two words: Jury Nullification

Two words: Jury Nullification Anyone who is on a jury in a marijuana case should refuse to convict. Send a message to the government that marijuana laws are unjust
You don't have to wait until the next election to be heard.
