Florida authorities say the fire from an exploding meth lab on Sunday burned a toddler and sent her to the Joseph M. Still Burn Center at Doctors Hospital in Augusta.

The News Herald of Panama City quoted sheriff's deputies, who said the fire involved illegal drug manufacture.

Bay County sheriff’s deputies said 33-year-old John Franklin Osborn is facing drug and child abuse charges. Witnesses said he fled the scene after the fire.

The child, a 1-year-old girl whose playpen melted in the flames, was airlifted to the special burn unit, where she was said to be suffering from second- and third-degree burns on nearly half her body, the newspaper reported.

Hell can have him after we're

Hell can have him after we're done with him. At least I'm consistent -- blow both of his knees and then an hour later put a bullet in his head. The [filtered word]ran out of the house, leaving his kid in the burning playpen. He needs to die, very painfully and reasonably slowly. 'Nuff said...

It is such a shame that

It is such a shame that children have to suffer because their parents are such low-lifes. There is a special place in hell for him. Leaving a baby to burn in their playpen, UNBELIEVABLE!!!

Parents weren't supposed to

Parents weren't supposed to even have the child. They were already found unfit, and custody was turned over to the mother's sister. The sister ignored the courts ruling and returned the child to the mother. Now all three are locked up.
