Minor injuries reported in downtown wreck

Authorities responded this morning to an accident in downtown Augusta. The Richmond County Sheriff's Office received a call at approximately 10:20 a.m. about a wreck at Greene and Seventh streets.

According to a deputy on the scene, a white SUV was turning onto Seventh Street when it was struck by a car heading east on Greene. The SUV flipped, coming to rest on its roof.

Only minor injuries were reported.
