Food taken, glass broken in Crawford Avenue Baptist theft

Someone broke windows and stole food from Crawford Avenue Baptist Church late Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning, police say.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s report, a burglar entered the church at 507 Crawford Avenue by breaking the window of a side door. Several windows inside the church, including in the nursery and choir room, were also broken. About $50 worth of food was stolen, the report states.
