ATLANTA -- Negotiations with hospitals in Athens and Gainesville for medical-student residencies remains on pace, officials with the Medical College of Georgia told a committee of the Board of Regents today.
The 15 full-time faculty members are at work writing curriculum, drafting exams and meeting with their colleagues in Augusta, according to MCG Athens Dean Barbara Schuster.

This is a little too timely along with the breaking news regarding furloughs not to think it's a ploy by the AC to just "stir up the mess". Though MCG is stupid and bigoted to egg on the fact that they are pushing this forward.
