An Augusta man was arrested this morning after a Richmond County sheriff’s deputy saw him carrying a television set across the 2500 block of Peach Orchard Road.

Deputy Mathew Sides chased down Akeem Emanuel Wiggins, 18, of 2348 Golden Camp Road, and arrested him on burglary charges, a sheriff’s report said.

The deputy later found that the door to the nearby ICTC Computer Store had been pried open. A small amount of marijuana and cocaine was found in the suspect’s vehicle.
