ATLANTA - Even Georgia's governor is feeling the pain of furloughs.

Gov. Sonny Perdue's office said Monday that the governor already has taken his three furlough days - and he worked all three. Spokesman Bert Brantley said Perdue's staff is rotating furlough days to make sure there are enough employees to deal with state business.

Perdue said last month that state government employees would have to take three furloughs by the end of the calendar year to close a $900 million gap.

Perdue is the worst governor

Perdue is the worst governor and biggest liar in the state of Georgia's history. If he would give up on his "Fish Georgia" campaign which is by the way in his home county----millions of $$$ of graft----the "gap" would be less than that it is. And the final nail in Sonny's coffin is the new homeboy High School which will be completed next year just as Sonny is leaving office. Good Riddance to the liar!!!

Perhaps a pay cut as well as

Perhaps a pay cut as well as those furlough days would be about right for him? Then he would get a clue to a teacher's salary, oh, thats right, his office didnt pay out of pocket for those items either! Governor, perhaps less spending and more work for you is in order.

Keep up the good work Sonny.

Keep up the good work Sonny. I just love to hear state employees whine. They all need to learn what every business owner already knows. You have to experience a little pain from time-to-time. The world isn't perfect.

You can say Republicn all you

You can say Republicn all you want . Party of affiliation has nothing to do with turning a blid eye to what rally is fact and should have been completed. He did some things that were good of course not just him many other elected officials as well but the fact is he is not the only one to blame. ALL OF ARE. We put these fools in office now we need to get them out for obviously not having the big picture in mind for the state as a whole. Too much focus on just Atlanta or someone's home district instead of whats good For Georgia.

This coming for someone who moved here via military and stayed here.

How much did Sonny give away

How much did Sonny give away by having that tax free weekend where tax was avoided even if you don't have kids in school? How stupid is that when we're laying off people because tax revenues are low? We have some lousy people making decisions in Atlanta.

Sanford is the only governor

Sanford is the only governor that takes vacation days- to Argentina. Sonny doesn't have a Latin soul mate.
