Richmond County authorities seized nearly 150 pounds of marijuana from an Augusta business this morning.

Investigators executed a search warrant at a Custom Car Care at 3214-B Milledgeville Road and found the drugs hidden in a large wooden crate, according to a Richmond County sheriff’s report.

When they arrived on the scene at about 3:37 a.m. investigators spotted Ronald Ivan Morgan, 28, of 2141 Sibley Road, smoking a marijuana blunt inside a car outside the store, the report said. Mr. Morgan, who works at the business, was arrested for trafficking marijuana, possession of MDMA and giving a false name and date of birth.

Authorities found 6 grams of marijuana in the suspect’s pockets and also recovered two ecstasy pills from a refrigerator inside the business.

Good Job, keep making arrest and cleaning up the city.

I'm telling ya. You can't trust a grown [filtered word] man with hair like that.

The Ode

Until a certain segment of the population decides to clean themselves up, then law enforcement will only be able to do so much.

Those eyes are more glazed over than a Krispy Kreme doughnut.

The guy was just trying to make an honest living. Legalize marijuana and tax it.

mad_max

Yeh, I've seen a couple of these "detail" places where the customer arrives with a dirty car and leaves with a dirty car and the "employees" don't look like anybody I would want inside my car.

Nammy3

Bet that killed his buzz, right quick.

Frank I

it's not an honest living if it's breaking the law riverman.. while I do agree that marijuana should be legalized

zcock

LOL... dude looks like princess leia!

justasking

LaTwon

dashiel

LaTwon.....give it a rest!

SnowBallCity

OMG, it is two rats kissing.
Buzzz: dead in the watah.
He must really have a hard time coming off the X. It's busta something.

Damma, that's alotta hoocha.
ka-bump-bump. Party over.

Riverman1, although the legalization of marijuana is another topic, it is against the law to sell or possess. Therefore, saying this guy was trying to make an honest living makes absolutely no since. I doubt you are in favor of allowing all of the illegal immigrants to remain in this country or continue to enter the country although they are just coming here to make an honest living.

Riverman1

Asitisinaug, I bet you kept the SnitchBox full when you were in school. How are your allergies from cleaning the erasers? Between that and running the audiovisual equipment for the teacher and wearing your thick glasses with the bandaid down the middle holding them on. Your pocket protector might have been big but it didn't make up for other things. Ever heard of jury nullification in Georgia? Put me on a jury for this guy and I'd let him go as the Georgia Constitution says I can. The war on drugs is a total failure. Use the money for treatment and education. Leave Cheech and Chong alone period. I haven't smoked a joint in 20 years either. Alcohol, on the other hand...

That hair-do will earn him a lot of "alone time" with Bubba in the cell-in-the-corner-in-the-dark. Don't run out of jelly, Cuz!

Riverman1

I don't believe this guy will be afraid of Bubba.

disssman

Man I'll bet his mama is proud of him and his success in life. As I posted elsewhere, this tactic of the law enforcement is only going to upset fine folks like Prof Gates. Why are they picking on fine upstanding members of our society who are held in high esteem by the community.

christie

Nice job Richmond County.

This poor clown probably spent the last of his A.C.O.R.N. voting money on that blunt that he was smoking when he was arrested. No huge loss, I guess, since he probably voted under six different identities and collected Obama $$ for each vote just like the other A.C.O.R.N. recruited voters.

whyaskwhy

LaTwon, get over it !

whyaskwhy

Sooo that's the problem . . . alcohol on the brain. And attempting to make sense out of nonsense. LOL, LOL, LOL

Legalize it. Imagine what that would do to pharmaceutical, paper and other fiber industries. A return to manufacturing with enviromentally friendly materials. Wouldn't it be nice if a pair of jeans would actually hold up for a year or more then the crap they turn out now? Higher grades of paper for lower manufacturing costs. Medical marijauna to displace other pain killers and guess what you can grow it in your own garden for pennies instead of hundreds of dollars to prescriptions with side effects. What would our police force do if we no longer needed to arrest recreational smokers and how much tax savings from not having to host them for three meals a day room and board? The fact that Marijuana is still illegal is a conspiracy to keep some fat cats in law enforcement, pharmaceutical and other industries cash flowing. Isn't ironic that during the world wars they allowed manufacturing with hemp because it was efficient and effective.
