Search under way for missing North Augusta woman

The North Augusta Department of Public Safety is searching for a 75-year-old woman in the Village Parkway area.

She was last seen at her residence, 201 Village Parkway, about 1 p.m., according to Lt. Tim Pearson.

The woman, described as white with gray-brown hair, was wearing a white shirt with black pants and was walking her dog.

Pearson said the bloodhounds are now assisting in the search.

Glad she is alright. Was surprised to see an officer at the china buffet in NA handing out fliers. Way to go.

I'm glad she was found safe.

I'm glad she was found safe. I do hope that her caregivers will take extra precautions in the future. 35 officers times several hours is an expensive use of manpower.
