Man shot at Waffle House

A Hephzibah man was shot in the leg outside the Waffle House at 1629 Gordon Highway.

According to a Richmond County sheriff’s report, the man was attempting to enter his vehicle about 5:20 a.m. Saturday when a shot was fired from a light blue Lincoln Town Car with large chrome wheels.

The victim was treated at the Medical College of Georgia Hospital.
