The body of a missing Augusta man was found Sunday afternoon.
Richmond County Investigator Jeremiah Welch said the body of Cain Beck, 41, of Hephzibah-McBean Road, was found in a ravine near the intersection of Brown and Peach Orchard roads.
Mr. Beck was riding a motorcycle when the accident took place, Richmond County Investigator Sean Cochran said. The motorcycle appears to have left the roadway.
The accident is under investigation by the Richmond County Sheriffs Office, Investigator Cochran said.
Mr. Beck was last seen at 11 p.m. Friday leaving the area of Windsor Spring and Peach Orchard roads on his motorcycle. He never arrived home and was reported missing by his wife on Saturday.
Awwww man....this is horrible. God be with his wife.
Yes, this is horrible. He was my cousin and a very good freind. Always there to lend a helping hand. He and his wife had twin girls last year - a tragedy for them all. He will be missed.
Gonna Miss you Cain...be with the angels
Don't drink and drive.

I can't believe you are gone... You was a nice guy to work with and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family...
This is so sad. I was praying that he would be found OK. I feel for his family and my prayers and thoughts are with them.
How sad, My deepest sympathy to the family.
The only people who knows what really happen is him and his family and those of yall with negative remarks must be the ones who dont look for motorcycles out on the road I am sorry for his family and may god be with them
April I agree 100%! Why can't the bitter just control themselves for once and be silent? This is so sad!! My deepest sympathy to the family.
It is always sad when a life is lost. As a new bike rider it only takes one time to make one wrong move and that is it. I am hoping that someody did not make a wrong move in car amd run him off the road. I am assuming that they would be looking for skid marks. I had an idiot pull out in front of me and I had to apply front and rear brakes
My prayers and thoughts are with the family. My God be with you right now in your time of need.
Can a motorcycle make skid marks? I know you can't stop on a dime, it takes a lot of room to come to a stop on a motorcycle. Motorists fail to understand this and will pull out in front of the bike not reaizing the differece in a bike and an automobile/truck. Perhaps we can learn what happened, it is so sad.
A tragic ending to a stormy life. Cain was a good friend and will be missed.
Prayers for family and friends. Monrning glory, yes a motorcycle can skid and most can outbrake cars if the rider is familiar with how to brake properly. This is not to say the rider did not know, just correcting some misinformation.
My prayers go out to the Beck family!! I have known his father for many years and know how much Cain will be missed by him! May he Rest In Peace!!!
my condolences to his loved ones
My condolences to his family and friends. Hopefully your horrilbe loss will show that all of us that drive cars, trucks, suvs,& vans, need to learn to pay attention and learn to share the road with everyone
I graduated school with Cain. He was always smiling, just like I a m sure he is smiling with the angels.May god be with him and his family God bless you and may you find peace in knowing that he is with the lord
I did not know Cain, but I have known his father since the 70's.
