An employee for the fast-food restaurant said the man approached the window on foot and asked for change, according to a sheriff’s report.

When the employee opened the register, the man came through the window and took more than $442 from the cash drawer. He then jumped in the bed of a nearby pickup truck occupied by three other men and left, the report said.

The amount of money taken in

The amount of money taken in a robbery should never be published by the media. $442 may not be worth the risk for some but to others it is worth to kill. Not ever knowing for sure is a deterrant to most. That should be part of the training for the manager-on-duty and the media should not be reporting it even when told.

Unfortunatly all the

Unfortunatly all the extensive training and professionalism that was put into all the local TB's for over 15 years went out the door when the Franchisee sold to another company from Atlanta in 2006. It's from my own personal opinion and first hand experience that nothing can prepare you for the "characters" who run the TB's in store and behind the scenes. Let's just say you can't train a sloth to the work of an ant!

I live in South Augusta,

I live in South Augusta, never had a problem. Have an unlocked corvette in the driveway. No issues, been here almost three years. Columbia County has it's problems like anywhere else. It's just harder to see it with your noses in the air.
