EMERSON, Ga. - Bartow County police say they have recovered three kilograms of cocaine during a routine traffic stop in the town of Emerson.

Emerson Officer Kyle Teems stopped a car doing 91 MPH in a 70 MPH zone. Another officer, Lt. Todd Heath, said the occupants had no identification. He said they asked for consent to search and found the illegal contraband in the trunk.

Investigators said they believe the drugs were headed for the Kennesaw area, where all four men in the car live.

All four were charged with drug trafficking.
