NORTH AUGUSTA -- A North Augusta pizza delivery man was the victim of an armed robbery twice in three days by the same man, police said.

On July 19, the 53-year-old victim attempted to deliver pizzas to an address on Bradleyville Road. While he waited for someone to answer the door, a black man dressed in dark clothing pulled a handgun and demanded the victim’s wallet, money and the pizzas.

The victim attempted to deliver pizza Tuesday to an address on Belgium Circle. When he knocked on the door, a woman told him to enter. He saw her on the toilet, stepped back outside and shut the door to wait. A man dressed in dark clothing pointed a handgun at his chest and demanded the victim’s wallet and the money.

The victim told the suspect that he had already taken his wallet July 19, to which the robber replied, “Oh, yeah,” according to an incident report.

The suspect told the man to leave, and the deliveryman returned to Pizza Hut on Georgia Avenue to call the police. The woman in the Belgium Circle apartment told police she never ordered pizza.

"The suspect told the man to

"The suspect told the man to leave, and the suspect returned to Pizza Hut on Georgia Avenue to call the police." AC proofread your articles before posting. If the suspect returned to the store then he should have been caught. Tards!

Another thing the article

Another thing the article does not make clear, in either case, is whether the suspect was inside either residence or approached the deliveryman from the outside. Sounds like there is more to this story.

If the pizza man would like

If the pizza man would like it I will loan him a gun! I think the third time should be a charm. Anyone know what it takes to be a part time pizza man? I might put in an application this afternoon and wait for the calls. The bradleyville and the groves areas seem to need some extra attention. Maybe when they take the orders they should ask if you would like lead with that?
Isn't this the same area were the cop got shot in the face? God only knows what they would do to an ice cream man or a fireman back there.

When he knocked on the door,

When he knocked on the door, a woman told him to enter. He saw her on the toilet",-- I do not know any one that would tell someone to enter their residence while they are, let's say, indisposed.

The suspect told the man to leave, and the deliveryman returned to Pizza Hut on Georgia Avenue to call the police....AC is not the only one needing to proofread their posts. Where does it say the suspect returned to the store?

Who cares if the story was

Who cares if the story was not correctly reported. Just take a ride over in that area... it is nothing but thug central. The whole area needs to be razed. It is a breeding ground for lowlife people. If I was the manager of the dominos... I would not deliver to that area any more.

Themaninthemirror: At my company, there are women who refuses to shut the bathroom door when they are "indisposed." And thats not including when i used to do Door-to-Door sales, women would come to the door dripping wet from being in the shower trying to get me to wait in their residence while they got through showering. lol.

My question is why is a 53 year old man delivering pizza in the first place? I understand that times are hard but come on! But if I were him I would be looking for another job!!

Hopefully this 47 year old

Hopefully this 47 year old man will get a chance to deliver some pizzas soon. I would shoot the first person who tried to take my hot bag thing away from me. I think I would even keep a pistol in the bag and walk with my hand on it waiting and begging for one of them to get stupid. The following is taken from a website that has a whole blog dedicated to pizza deliverymen fighting back. Pizza Hut delivery man, 43-year-old Christopher Miller, says he showed up at the home at 10:30 p.m. and 17-year-old Paul Sturgill was standing on the sidewalk waiting for him. Officials say soon after Miller got out of the car, two other men ran at him from the woods. When Miller started running away, that’s when authorities say Sturgill continually tried beating him in the face. Miller, who has a concealed weapons permit, says he pulled out .45 caliber handgun that he had in his fanny pack and shot Sturgill in his chest. Sturgill was taken to the hospital where he later died. I will be a deliveryman for free if anyone is hiring.

Wow, that's crazy. Just

Wow, that's crazy. Just yesterday I was sitting on the toilet when someone knocked on my apartment door and i said, "Cmon in!!", and they came in and saw me sitting on the toilet, and they went back out, and I didn't order a pizza, and why would I just say "Cmon in" when someone just knocks on my door while I'm on the toilet..and then I remembered I am an idiot. Thank goodness I have lots of guns to protect my poor dumb self.

It is against Pizza Hut

It is against Pizza Hut policy to enter a customers home to begin with! Obviously this driver is NOT TRAINED RIGHT! It is also against policy to carry a firearm during work hours.

All you folks who are questioning the driver are missing the point about this whole thing. He was confronted by a thug with a gun in thug land.

Sigh ... there is no such

Sigh ... there is no such thing as a Glock 40 inkpup. Please learn about your guns! As for the article if this guy did have a CWP and he chose to defend his life he would be fired from his job. Why work for a place that doesnt care for your safety? If I ever had a company that delivered to houses I would require my employees to have the means to protect themself. I would fire them for not doing so!

The delivery man doesn't need

The delivery man doesn't need to be armed. Pizza Hut needs to refuse delivery to areas where delivery men have been robbed in the past.

RAWR you should check things

RAWR you should check things out before you say there is no such thing. Glock does in fact make a 40 cal. hand gun.
