GBI seeks help in finding driver who ran over man

ATLANTA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is asking for help this morning finding the driver who repeatedly ran over a South Carolina man in a parking lot near the Georgia Dome.

The GBI said Thursday a light-colored Lincoln Navigator was seen near the Patterson parking lot around the time 39-year-old Darren Williams of Columbia, S.C., was killed on Tuesday.

The autopsy on Wednesday determined that his death was a homicide and "blunt force trauma to the chest" killed him.

GBI spokesman John Bankhead said agents determined that Williams had been run over intentionally several times.
