Jaguar coach loses in 2nd round

NORMAN, Okla. - Augusta State golfer Mitch Krywulycz lost 4 and 3 to Brandon Crick, of McCook, Neb., today in the round of 16 at the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship.

Augusta State men’s golf coach Josh Gregory was eliminated in the second round.

Krywulycz, a junior, had defeated Julian Suri, of Saint Augustine, Fla., in 20 holes in the second round, while Gregory lost 3 and 2 to Sam Lyons, of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

Top-seeded Nick Taylor, of Canada, won two matches today to advance to the quarterfinals at Jimmie Austin Oklahoma University Golf Club.
