A Grovetown man was sentenced to life in prison today after a jury found him guilty of sexually assaulting a child.
In June, a jury convicted Arthur Clarence Williams Sr., 33, of Katherine Street, of four counts of child molestation, four counts of aggravated child molestation, two counts of rape and two counts of incest.
Mr. Williams was accused of sexually assaulting a girl at four Grovetown address between April 2004 and April 2008, when she was between 6 and 10 years old.
Superior Court Judge James G. Blanchard sentenced Mr. Williams to life in prison during a sentencing hearing at the Columbia County Justice Center in Evans.

Actually, acording to the justice department, out of all criminals, They are the "LEAST LIKLEY" to repeat offend. So PT is incorrect.
Why doesn't our juducial systrm make charcoal out him ? No, instead we tax payers are going to spend approx. $30,000 a year to put him up in a nice motel. BS**** poor gas on him and light him up. After all, he has for the most part ruined these children for life.
I would like to know your source on that "'least likely' to repeat offend" information. I don't believe I've ever run across it before this morning.

i know this guy and yes i met him in jail and u know what he did not seem like that. o yea i forget some thing my name is slappey from blkyn n.y I was put on 4 years of probation for a fake name and was told to pay probations fees of $2,094 dollars the feds need to look into columbia county jail for misconduct someone getting payed and its not the city of columbia.
