NORTH AUGUSTA -- North Augusta’s new municipal building off Georgia Avenue is officially open for business.
City offices opened this morning at the new site. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday-Friday.
The 68,000-square feet structure houses 33 city employees and is expected to cost $300,000 a year to operate.
The Arts and Heritage Center will open inside the municipal building Tuesday. Its hours are Tuesday-Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
