Storms disrupt Atlanta commuters, flights

ATLANTA -- Strong summer storms continued over Atlanta this morning, disrupting commuters and delaying flights from the region's busiest airport.

It was the second day of strong weather for the metro area, after Sunday saw toppled trees, lightning, fires, flooding and power outages.

Thunderstorms dumped more than two inches of rain in the area overnight, according to the National Weather Service, and more is expected this afternoon.
