A 31-year-old active-duty Fort Gordon serviceman was confirmed Monday as the sixth person at the post with H1N1 flu, a new advisory says.

According to a statement released this morning, the male soldier was examined at Dwight D. Eisenhower Army Medical Center on June 26 and was sent home to recover. He was not treated with antiviral medication.

Eisenhower physicians say that the patient has fully recovered and that they have taken appropriate actions to mitigate exposure to the community.
