ATLANTA - Former Georgia golfer Brian Harman shot 8-under-par 64 to take over the lead in the Dogwood Invitational at Druid Hills Golf Club.
Harman, who is at 12-under through 54 holes, is being chased by two players with Georgia ties. Former Bulldog Adam Mitchell had 65 and is one shot behind Harman. Current Bulldog Russell Henley, the second-round leader, had 70 and is two shots off the pace.
Augustas Brian Carter, a Georgia signee, had 68 and moved from a tie for 36th place to a tie for 21st. He and Michael Green (72), another Augustan, are nine shots off the lead.
Augusta State golfer Mitch Krywulycz (73) is tied for 30th place and Augustas Lee Knox (72) is tied for 34th.
