A 7-month pregnant woman was arrested early this morning for armed robbery of a Domino’s Pizza on 2514 Tobacco Road.
According to Richmond County Sheriff's Office reports, Rochelle Margaret Hailey, 21, of the 3800 block of Highpoint Drive, Hephzibah, entered the restaurant about 2:17 a.m., pulled out a gray revolver and forced an employee to open a safe. She then left with an undetermined amount of money.
Ms. Hailey was arrested about five minutes later when she was pulled over by a deputy at the intersection of Deans Bridge Road and Meadowbrook Drive. The evidence and material from the robbery were turned over to investigators.

I am pretty sure she has a baby daddy who is probably at 401 Walton Way waiting for her. I said it once and I will say it until I die people shouldn't have children that they can't take care of.

Why is she being defended? Is it because she is a pregnant women? No one would say that if a man did it to feed his kids. She may be a gangster who happens to be pregnant. Just my opinion.

Some of you people have some sick minds. I am afraid of you more than the robbers out there. Bad times are upon us and we should be trying the find a way to help people that need help before robberies etc. I am sure this young lady has some type of problem. We are so quick to judge; she could have been force in some way to do this. How can she think she would not be caught and caught quick?

"Bad times" are not an excuse to rob anyone, period. No more excuses for thieves, if you bleeding hearts want to feel sorry for someone look at the victims of crime. They go to work every day, obey the law and pay their bills. A thief is a lowlife POS not entitled to the bounty of others labor.
The criminal in this case used a gun to commit a crime, she needs jail time and her tubes tied.

We already have agencies that would've helped her, as in Crisis Pregnancy Center and DFACS. She chose to rob that restaurant. She deserves to have her baby taken away from her. Who would go to jail when there is free help for pregnant women? She was desperate, all right, but it wasn't about her baby, it was about HER. And if she did it to get care for her baby, then she obviously cannot make rational decisions and is incapable of caring for a child.
