LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. — Several children were among members of a wedding party in Lawrenceville who were hurt when a second-story deck collapsed during a picture-taking session.

Gwinnett County fire spokesman Tommy Rutledge said four children and one adult, all unnamed, were treated at area hospitals for non-life threatening injuries Thursday night.

The deck fell about 12 feet from the second-level of the wood frame house. Firefighters said there appeared to be signs of termite damage that may have weakened the deck.

Firefighters were told there were about 15 to 18 people on the deck when it collapsed.
