Golden Harvest Food Bank will hold a food drive and hamburger sale at Earth Fare in Evans this afternoon.

The food bank, which serves 19 counties in Georgia and 11 counties in South Carolina, is hoping to collect food and funds for low-income families across its service area, said Vikki Adkins, director of development for the food bank. The food drive will be held from 3:30 until 7:30 p.m. at Earth Fare located at 368 Furys Ferry Rd.

Volunteers will be on hand selling burgers and other snacks for $1, Ms. Adkins said.

Earth Fare will also donate 5 percent of its sales today to the Golden Harvest Food Bank.
