Lost In Translation

Really? This is the best the AC can do? What about the continuous mysterious sounds that came from the Augusta Nationals this past weekend? If I didn't know any better, it sounded like they had a trap and skeet range set up! The gun shot sounding noises went on for about 2 hours nonstop and the public has no idea what was going on, but when a stupid tree limb falls at the Augusta Nationals it gets a story? No wonder news print is going out of business, stories that aren't worth the paper they are printed on....

I'll bet someone gets some Masters tickets out of this one! Seriously...a tree falling is breaking news?

Dixieman

If a tree falls in Augusta and it is not Masters Week, does it make a sound?

JohnnyYuma

The noises are to scare the birds away, everybody knows that!

Who gives a rats butt if a tree fell on Augusta National property. I had a tree fall on my property last Thursday when the storms came through and that did not make the news! This type of news reporting is elementary. There was a turtle crossing Reynolds Street earlier this afternoon...are they going to write a story about that too???? Unreal!!!

What block of Reynolds St?

asustudent75

5th Street area! It had a Masters Badge around its neck....

I saw a drunk guy fall down while crossing Greene Street yesterday. It somehow didn't make the "Breaking News" section.
