So a win depends on which

So a win depends on which ESPN shows the game? What a ridiculous statistic to even be published. Colleges have totally lost control of their game times and sometimes places. Time was when a game was scheduled and a TV crew showed up and put it on the air - now having bowed to the great television god, colleges must ask the television network when they might have permission to start a game. People who travel to Athens from far corners of the state and usually return home after an afternoon game now either will not go, will drive home half asleep or must also pay for accomodations in addition to the exorbitant costs associated with attending a football game. Now that UGA has signed the new TV deal watch out for more outrageous start times. True enough, it's hot in Athens when the season starts but real fans have braved the heat all these years. The WORST games that I have ever attended have been at night. IN general neither team is used to playing under the lights and it gives a whole different atmosphere on the field and in the stands. After one Tennessee game several years ago in Athens I wanted to personally ask the coach for my money back.

Maybe I'm getting old, but

Maybe I'm getting old, but the worst thing about the night games is the number of drunk fans! Doesn't matter if the game is being played in Athens, Clemson, Columbia, Jacksonville...the drunks are everywhere with a night game! All day to do nothing but sit, drink alcohol till they puke, and watch football until the kickoff of the game they really came to see. At least with a 1:00 pm game, the drunks don't have as much time to drink because they're just getting up and going at around 11:00 am!

0 need to need to change your name to WhineDawg. A true Bulldawg fan would love the game no matter what time it is played in Athens!
