Jobs today but none

Jobs today but none tomorrow?

check out this story from a Knoxville News Sentinel blog

"Stimulus windfall could bite DOE's cleanup budget"

"It appears that the Dept. of Energy's environmental budgets for 2010 and beyond could take some hits, partly because of the perception that the program is awash in stimulus money."

http://blogs.knoxnews.com/knx/munger/2009/06/stimulus_windfall_could_bit...

DOE has been clear that jobs will run out in 30 months, that some of the jobs are really keeping folks who are already working at SRS & that hires under the stimulus will be flying on a wing and a prayer after 30 months. Long-term job impact could be negative if the long-term cleanup budget is cut.

Job fairs are great and

Job fairs are great and everywhere I turn, I am reading about how many people are attending them. Everyone has either been downsized or is afraid they are going to be downsized, or, if they are in sales, their income is just plain drying up! There seems to be so much competition for the few jobs that are out there. I realized that there is no better time to start your own business than now- to be in control of your own career future! The key is to start one with a product that is highly consumable, in a growing industry, with a lucrative compensation plan where you can become profitable quickly. Ideally, it would be one where you create jobs for others. This is what I have done! I started out with this being my Plan B, but it has quickly become my Plan A because real estate (my original Plan A) is so hard right now.
