Georgia Tech student robbed at gunpoint

ATLANTA — Another Georgia Tech student has been robbed at gunpoint, the latest in a series of armed robberies near the campus.

The latest occurred about 1 a.m. today on Luckie Street in downtown Atlanta when the student was walking to his apartment.

The robber demanded everything the student was carrying. A neighbor who saw the incident screamed for help. The robber got away with a pack of cigarettes.

The student was not identified.

On Saturday night, student Jim Kenney had his iPhone, money and sunglasses stolen by an armed robber who made him lie on the ground.
