The 3-hour, 29-minute game went the usual nine innings, but the two teams combined for 19 runs on 26 hits and six errors in an 11-8 victory for the Rome Braves.

Starter Aaron King lasted 3-plus innings after giving up five runs, three earned, on six hits. The three GreenJackets relievers, Kyle Woodruff, Mitch Lively and Trey Webb allowed at least one run in every inning but the seventh.
The first four batters in the Rome line up combined for 10 hits on the night led by leadoff man Jahdiel Santamaria and his 3 for 4 effort. Samuel Sime, the Braves No. 7 hitter, went 3 for 5 with three RBI thanks to a pair of triples.
