Next week, an eastbound section of Interstate 20 in Aiken County will be closed at night as construction work takes place for phase two of the Palmetto Parkway project.
A contractor will be setting new beams across eastbound I-20, causing that section of the interstate that crosses under US Highway 25 to be closed from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, according to a release.
Eastbound traffic will be detoured around this area using the ramp at exit 5.
