Two sought in Jackson robbery

Aiken County authorities are seeking two men who robbed a grocery store in Jackson on Wednesday night.

The incident occurred at the Family Foods IGA at 110 Dragstrip Road. According to the Aiken County Sheriff’s Office, the robbers entered the store, pointed handguns and demanded money. They fired two rounds before leaving.

The Aiken Bloodhound Tracking Team was sent to the scene and tracked to a nearby business, where authorities say they believe the robbers had parked a car, the sheriff's office said.

The vehicle is possibly a white, four-door car with a sunroof and small spoiler on the trunk.

One of the suspects is described as black, about 17 years old, 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighing 140 pounds with brown eyes. He was wearing a red bandanna, black shirt, blue jeans and was armed with a semiautomatic handgun. The other suspect is described as black, also about 17 or 18 years old, 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds with brown eyes. He was wearing a mask, black shirt and was also armed with a semiautomatic handgun.
