Virginia Commonwealth transfer Franck Ndongo will join the Augusta State men's basketball program, head coach Dip Metress announced today.

A 6-foot-6, 205-pound forward from Cameroon, Ndongo will have two years of eligibility remaining.

He was a member of a VCU program that won three consecutive Colonial Athletic Association regular-season titles and appeared in two NCAA Tournaments in the past three seasons.

Ndongo sat out the 2008-09 season as a medical redshirt after suffering a torn ACL. As a sophomore in 2007-08, he averaged 1.5 points and 1.6 rebounds per game.
