Aiken County charges 2 in slaying

According to a statement released this morning, the Aiken County Sheriff's Office has arrested Matthew Lamar Jackson Jr., 22, 2200 block of Windsor Road, Springfield; and Tyrone Akeem Gleaton, 18, 100 block of Holly Street, Wagner.

Both will be charged with murder and unlawful possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime in the death of Marquez Tyler,

The two are currently being held at the Aiken County Detention Center.
