The Columbia County Convention & Visitors Bureau will present the results of a market research study at a public meeting Tuesday.

The conclusions will equip Columbia County with a plan of action about where to focus its marketing efforts, said executive director Beda Johnson.

Randall Travel Marketing over the past several months visited many county attractions, hotels and retail outlets. Mystery shoppers interviewed guests to discover their reasons for visiting the area.

The public presentation will be held at the Columbia County Board of Commissioners' Auditorium in Building A of the Government Center at 630 Ronald Reagan Drive in Evans.

"We believe this study will help us move forward with tourism product and economic development. We want to use this firm's impressions of our community to engage our partners, including business owners, county leadership, and hospitality industry employees in this process," Ms. Johnson said.
