Road work planned in Martinez this week has been rescheduled.

Crews will be temporarily closing lanes on Davis Road and Washington Road in Columbia County from 9 p.m. to 7 a.m., starting Tuesdayand extending into early Wednesday, June 10.

The Davis Road lane closure will be about 500 feet south of the road’s intersection with Washington Road, according to a press release.

A turn lane for westbound traffic at Davis Road and Washington Road will be closed, as well.

This is expected to reduce the left turning traffic from Washington Road to Davis Road to a single lane, the release said.

Crews will be repairing a sewer lane in that area.
