ROME, Ga. - Tom Glavine allowed just three hits in six shutout innings as the Rome Braves beat the Augusta GreenJackets 3-0 tonight in a South Atlantic League game.

Glavine allowed a first-inning double by Ben Woodbury and two hits in the second inning before retiring the final 12 batters he faced.

The 43-year-old Glavine, who has 305 wins in 21 major league seasons, was making his second rehab start in the minor leagues. He is trying to come back from elbow and shoulder surgery in August.
