Three people were arrested today and charged in a fatal shooting Saturday night.

According to a Richmond County jail committal, Susan Elaine Inglett, 24, of the 200 block of Barrow Drive, and Nicholson Rydell Williams, 18, of the 200 block of Memory Drive, were arrested this morning in connection with the fatal shooting of the owner of the House of Cheung King of Wing restaurant at 2331 Milledgeville Road. Ms. Inglett and Mr. Williams were each charged with criminal attempt armed robbery and murder.

Michael Eugene Williams, 20, turned himself in at the Richmond County Law Enforcement Center about 9 p.m., according to a jailer. He had been sought on charges of murder, criminal attempt armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.

The shooting occurred during an attempted armed robbery of the restaurant about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Richmond County Deputy Coroner Johnny McDonald said.

The restaurant owner, Jone Yin Cheung, 51, of Martinez, was shot at least once in the forehead, Mr. McDonald said. He was pronounced dead at the Medical College of Georgia Trauma Center at 9:11 p.m.

Every other news outlet in town has realized that his "condition" is "Lying on a drawer in the basement morgue getting chilly with a tag on his toe". The initial call for the coroner due to a fatality went out about 9pm last night.

I knew Henry and I never even

I knew Henry and I never even thought about the darn cat thing... I don't believe it! Why does people want to believe things that are not true! He was a decent man and with a great family... I know all the jokes about chinese with the animals, but this family only wanted to make a living and was great to everyone around here! Besides, the chinese as far as I know doesn't eat dog or cat! That is the Koreans! Think about it!

If that man owned a business

If that man owned a business on Milledgeville he knew the risks. Why many law abiding citizens won't arm themselves and put these thugs in the ground is beyond me.

please watch your comments.

please watch your comments. jone yin was my
uncle. and further more he never had cats in a freezer.
thats rumors that people are sterotyping
chinese people. there has been a life taken by
young people, of both races. my uncle would never had
disrepected any one on here. please show him some respect.
he was a very nice and kind person..all the regular
customers loved him. and further more, the story about cats in the freezer
is about the buffet restraunt
that was behind southgate, where the
one dollar theatre was.

People's comments are so

People's comments are so insensitive! Mr. Cheung was a wonderful man, long time Augusta resident and father to two amazing teens. You should be ashamed of the things some of you are saying. It could very well be any of us one day. It really doesn't matter what went on at his restaurant. The fact is that 3 people made the conscious decision to end someone's life.

My condolences to the Cheung

My condolences to the Cheung family. This is a sad story made even sadder by the asinine, insensitive comments posted by a few braying jackasses. On another issue, I have never understood why an autopsy is performed in cases where the cause of death is quite obvious. It seems such an insult to deceased and to his survivors. GGpap

This really breaks my heart.

This really breaks my heart. Really nice guy. What's even sadder? He's given plenty of his customers a hard time for carrying guns for protection. Too bad he doesn't get a chance to re-think his stance on that issue. This really angers me. God Bless his family.
