Ahhhh, it's a beautiful,

Ahhhh, it's a beautiful, quiet, day in my neighborhood. Not one boom boom car has marred the sweet chirping of the birds in the trees and visiting my birdfeeder. The only sounds this morning were the sounds you should hear on a Saturday morning: cars being washed, lawns being mowed, children playing, dogs being walked (on leashes!). Bliss. I wish there was something like Mayfest every weekend, if it's going to result in a normal Saturday for a change.

Black festival, white

Black festival, white festival, anything is fun. Hey, if Anthony Bourdaine can get drunk in whatever Burma is called today, I can have fun here. I guarantee you if you go out there it will be a great time. These are the kinds of events that can get us together.

Its amazing to me just how

Its amazing to me just how ignorant and racist the people of Augusta are. I knew it was alive and kicking, but somehow you always manage to sugar coat it. ? You know with your fake smiles, fake acceptance, or the old cliches like "my neighbors are black" or "I have black friends". You have just proven again that you absolutely fearful of the unknown that your first line of defense is to attack, seek and destroy, but what you have failed to realize is that you are only placing ill will on yourselves with your sickening views. I am currently a nursing student who just may be taking care of you, your family members and or friends in the near future and will in no way shape or form treat you, your family or friends the way that you have demonstrated yourselves today. I will be an absolute professional and remain the sane, good hearted and loving person that I am to everyone regardless of race, color, gender or sexual preference because I would expect that same common courtesy and dignity. I would laugh at you, but I feel sorry for you because you really don't know. God bless you all and I will continue to pray for my "enemies" because you need prayer more than anyone else.

Bravo, 4trnurse. Well said.

Bravo, 4trnurse. Well said.

I am horrified these 3 years later to read "a good place to drop a large bomb." Why would any decent human want to bomb "them"? Are you a proud racist? Apparantly so. As a caucasian, I want nothing to do with most of you commenters.
