CLEMSON, S.C. – Jeff Schaus doubled home two runs in the ninth to give top-seeded Clemson a 5-4 victory over Tennessee Tech in tonight's first-round game of an NCAA Regional.

The Tigers (41-20) advanced to play Oklahoma State (33-22) in Saturday night's winners' bracket game.

Schaus' one-out grounder slipped just inside the first-base bag and into the right-field corner, allowing Addison Johnson to score the tying run. Chris Epps sped around from first base to score the winner.
