Former students hold reunion for Josey, Laney teachers Saturday

Former students who graduated in the class of 1966 from T.W. Josey High and Lucy C. Laney High Schools will honor their former teachers Saturday, May 30 during a teachers’ reunion.

Teachers who taught the students from 1954 through 1966 are invited to attend the reunion, which will be held at Ryan’s, 3034 Peach Orchard Rd from 1-3 p.m.

There is no cost for the teachers who taught the former students during those years.

The guest speaker for the event will be Emma Gresham, the first black mayor of Keysville, Ga. There will also be presentations to the teachers given by their former students.
